RODRIGO is a bilingual, Emmy-nominated writer, producer, and director with a passion for socially-conscious stories.
He has written, produced, and directed Emmy- and Peabody award-winning series and documentaries for PBS, Discovery Channel, and Al Jazeera America. Currently Rodrigo is a writer, producer, and director on TRAFFICKED with Mariana van Zeller -- a documentary series for National Geographic that follows correspondent Mariana van Zeller as she investigates black markets around the world.
He worked in the writers room of Frank Darabont’s MOB CITY (TNT), and was Director of Scripted Development at Mitú Network, the largest Latino digital network in the world. Rodrigo was born in Mexico City, holds a BA in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge, and is a member of the Writers Guild of America.
He currently works and lives in Los Angeles, developing genre screenplays and documentaries. He is represented by CAA (Fernanda Buzo).
